Pediatric Neurology Observation Program

The candidate should learn about all common pediatric neurology disorders, learn skills and solve problems. Upon successful completion of the program, the trainee should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

– Information:
Anatomy, physiology and embryology of the central and peripheral nervous system.
Pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of children presenting with developmental delay or regression, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, epilepsy, head trauma, headache, stroke, metabolic disorders, neuromuscular problems and movement disorders.
Seizures, coma and increased intracranial pressure and ventilation, plasmapheresis etc. acute management of other neurological emergencies, including
Pharmacology of CNS drugs

– Abilities:
Gain proficiency in the neurological examination and neurodevelopmental assessment of newborns, infants and older children.
Know the utility, limitations, and interpretation of results of Lumbar puncture, EEG, EMG, 5 evoked potentials, Cranial US, CT, MRI, MRA, MR Spectroscopy, Cerebral Angiography, and Isotope scans.

General information:
– The training will be in English.
– The price includes transportation between the airport and the hotel.
– There are only 2 Empty Seats.
– It is an Observation Training.
