Maternal-Fetal Medicine Observation Program<\/span><\/strong>
Turkey (05-16 \/ 12 \/ 2022)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Educational content :<\/span>
Making clinical and ultrasonographic evaluations and making recommendations in the presence of abnormal early pregnancy findings.<\/span>
11-14 weeks Down syndrome, trisomy 13\/18 scan (nuchal thickness-nuchal thickness\/PAPP-A\/free beta hCG using nasal bone; with ductus venosus and tricuspid regurgitation if necessary) and 11-14 weeks detailed ultrasonographic examination.<\/span>
20-24 weeks 4 dimensional detailed ultrasonographic examination (2nd level ultrasonography).<\/span>
Diagnosis and treatment in fetal anomalies.<\/span>
Interventional interventions for prenatal diagnosis:<\/span>
amniocentesis<\/span>
CVS (Chorionic villus sampling)<\/span>
cordocentesis<\/span>
Evaluation and management of high-risk pregnancies with 11-14 week screening (double test), quadruple test or NIPT (cffDNA)<\/span>
Diagnosis and management in perinatal infections (Rubella, CMV, Toxoplasmosis, parvovirus B-19 etc.)<\/span>
Pregnancy follow-up in erythrocyte alloimmunization (Affected Rh incompatibility or alloimmunizations due to other erythrocyte antigens)<\/span>
Fetal anemia follow-up with MCA Doppler measurements<\/span>
Cordocentesis and intrauterine transfusion if necessary for the diagnosis of fetal anemia<\/span>
Evaluation of multiple pregnancies in terms of possible risks (anomaly, TTTS, TAPS, selective IUGR)<\/span>
Ultrasonography and Doppler follow-up and delivery timing in fetal growth and development disorders (Intrauterine growth retardation-IUGR-or macrosomia)<\/span>
Evaluation, follow-up and delivery timing of pregnancies complicated by systemic maternal diseases such as hypertension, preeclampsia, diabetes<\/span>
Evaluation and management of amniotic fluid abnormalities (oligohydramnios, polyhydramnios)<\/span><\/p>
