Abdominal Ultrasound Training Program<\/span><\/strong>

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:<\/span><\/p>

Leverage instrumentation principles to set up ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images according to AIUM guidelines.<\/span>
Recognize and identify the organ systems in the abdomen on the ultrasound image.<\/span>
Perform abdominal Doppler using Color and Pulsed Wave Doppler<\/span>
Understand and identify pathological variables.<\/span>
Follow the order of the abdominal ultrasound procedure from beginning to end.<\/span>
Recognize and identify the thyroid, scrotum, and appendix<\/span><\/p>

**Upper Abdominal Organ Systems Anatomy and Vessels<\/span>
*Evaluation of Normal and Abnormal Studies and Image Analysis<\/span>
**Scan Techniques and Protocols for Image Acquisition:<\/span><\/p>

-Liver and Bile System<\/span>
-Pancreas,<\/span>
-Spleen,<\/span>
-Kidney and urinary bladder<\/span>
-Additional<\/span>
-Abdominal Doppler<\/span><\/p>

Target group :<\/span>
Physicians with entry-level ultrasound scanning and interpretation. Other healthcare professionals learning abdominal ultrasound or cross-training: sonographers, physician assistants, etc.<\/span><\/p>
