Aim of the training:<\/span>
<\/b>The aim of the training is to enable the candidate to learn the exemplary practice of Paediatric Pulmonology.<\/span><\/p>

The trainee requires a sound understanding of Paediatric Pulmonology including:<\/b><\/span><\/p>

\u2022 Management of acute and chronic respiratory problems with special emphasis on bronchial asthma and tuberculosis<\/span>
\u2022 Doing and Interpreting pulmonary function tests (conventional).<\/span>
\u2022 Interpretation of chest X-ray and CT scan.<\/span>
\u2022 Performing flexible bronchoscopy.<\/span>
\u2022 Performing non-invasive ventilation (BIPAP, HHFNC).<\/span>
\u2022 Performing home ventilation.<\/span><\/p>

Special instruments:<\/span>
<\/b>To learn hand and eye co-ordination.<\/span>
To learn depth perception<\/span>
To learn tactile sensations .<\/span><\/p>
